Recognized for her achievement in developing high concept, character driven, globally saleable, franchise oriented entertainment, Fonda Snyder has written, developed and sold more than 50 projects for networks, steamers and major feature film studios.
With animated features at Netflix, Dreamworks, Warner Bros, and Sony and tv series at Disney, PBS and Netflix, she was hired by Global Toy Company, Maison Battat as Executive Vice President, to create an Entertainment Division for the Montreal based company. Prior, as President of Alchemy Ink, Inc., Snyder represented authors and illustrators, including Pulitzer Prize winning Berkeley Breathed, Suzanne and Max Lang and their #1 NY Times Bestseller, Grumpy Monkey, Hilary Duff, The Jim Henson Co. and Kevin Costner, and has written and developed bibles and pitch decks for brands such as Raggedy Ann & Andy, Encyclopedia Brown and The Phantom Tollbooth.
Snyder was hired as VP Disney Channel Original Movies, wrote the business plan for Technicolor to enter into IP development and has consulted for 9 Story where she sold Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum by NY Times Bestselling author Brad Meltzer, to PBS, and served as VP Development & Sales for Rainmaker where she sold Chris Tougas’s picture book Dojo Daycare to Dreamworks where she developed it as a preschool series; Team Zenko Go -now on Netflix.
Early in her career, Snyder co-founded Storyopolis, a family entertainment company, encompassing development and production with a first look deal at Warner Bros., book publishing, art gallery, exhibition space and retail outlet, financed by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
